Ready to Join?

Joining Pack 1450 is easy. Just follow the steps below:

1. 1.  Please complete this poll so that we know how to keep in touch:   http://bit.ly/Pack1450

   2.  Complete an Online Application with BSA https://my.bsa.us/082paa1450mb. 

This will include a portion of dues ($165 for National and Council Dues) and the option to subscribe to Scout Life Magazine ($15) - not required but highly recommended, plus small process fee (~$3)

1. 3. Pay local Pack dues. For 2024-2025, this is an additonal $80.

   4. We accept Paypal (preferred), Venmo, or check. 

Paypal instructions:

Go to paypal.me/pack1450 , enter the total amount due, click add a note  and explain the details about the purchase (i.e. Steve Johnson $135).  Finally, change Paying for Good or Services to  Send to Friend to  eliminate the transaction fees!

Venmo: Use @pack1450 and add a note with your scout's name

Note: No Scout is turned away because of financial concerns. We have resources from both our council and our pack to help make sure that any youth who wants to participate can. Please email cubmaster@pack1450.com to inquire about financial assistance.

4.  Obtain Uniform & Guide book

Minimum includes a shirt (short-sleeve recommended), belt, neckerchief and slide. 

The pack has a used uniform exchange with some items available. Additionally, we have hand-made neckerchiefs available to all scouts.

Choose the manual appropriate for your child’s Den (e.g., Tiger, Wolf)

Available at the National Capital Scout Shop (9190 Rockville Pike Bethesda, MD 20814), online, or pre-owned by other Scout families.
